Rethinking the Look of Things No. 23 - Bicycle Chic

I love the rethinking of the basics. Turning bicycling into chic-ness. How cool is this? From the classic vintage style bicycles to the fashion forward helmets this truly is inspiring.

Yup - this is a legit bicycle helmet!

A tartan helmet! Seriously cool.

Check out this saddle leather seat.

Loving these bike totes.

Hee Hee!

Papillionaire - love!

Papillionaire” – it means “rich in butterflies”. And now also means “bicycles”. Very nice bicycles at that. Even though their very own neologism may have French origins, Papillionaire design Dutch-inspired bicycles, all the way down-under, in Australia. Styled for urban dwellers, these beauties are the affordable designer bike, ensuring you ride with ease and comfort. There are two types to choose from; Classic or Sommer – both models are 3-speed and both share a clean contemporary design with a vintage feel by sourcing quality parts locally and abroad.

So go get your bicycle chic on people!

Garden Design No. 13 - Outdoor Chandeliers

Something about a warm summer night under an outdoor chandelier. Oh don't get me wrong, I love a starlit night, but this comes in second.

Paper Obsessed No. 12 - Playing With Books

Sort of missing the need to come up with summer projects like I used to for my kids when they were younger. This one would have been a fun one.  I have this book on my shelf and have only admired these projects, yet to attempt any of them.

Loving this for place settings

What a cute gift box for a bookstore gift card!

Oh the stress relief this project would provide.

Loving this window display at Tiffany & Co.

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream. It's that time of the year when we Americans consume the most ice cream. Check out what awaits us. Call it the ultimate summer bake sale!

This flavor is described as  “cinnamon ice cream swirled with cinnamon sopapilla and sweet tostada pieces.”

Blue Bunny's Red Velvet Ice Cream is paired with
cream cheese frosting flavored ice cream and red velvet cake pieces.

Inspired by centuries-old recipes spanning from Europe & Asia, the coconut macaroon ice cream is made with soft, chewy coconut macaroon cookies folded into delicate coconut ice cream.

Birthday cake in a cup!

No more over-ripe bananas to mash.

Whose up for an ice cream date?

Find a penny, pick it up. All day long you'll have good luck.

This copper fireplace facade is amazing.

Love the great color combination in this quaint bedroom.

Can't say enough about the copper window frames and amazing chandelier.

What a great backdrop for this neutral palette.

Done to perfection. Nothing to add, nothing to take away.

The copper drum tables are so...

Garden Design No. 12 - Rooftop Garden

I love escapes. Escapes from the day that kicks your butt, escapes from drama, escapes from the to-do list, escapes from everyone except those that you love.  But what I love most is that one can create their escape anywhere they like.

Rooftop gardens are the ultimate escape.

Seriously, how difficult would it be to not lean over this rooftop and say "neena neena boo boo!"

Loving that this garden has room for dancing under the moonlight.

Gotta Love No. 23 - Lofty Living

So when I move to Paris (someday), I'm torn between a city loft or a countryside abode.

If a city loft, it definitely needs a rooftop garden!
