I am inspired by picture frame lighting. Though when others where abandoning it as passe I joined in. Shame on me! As individual as I am in my design choices, regardless of trend, I neglected specifying or choosing picture frame lighting even when it was spot on.
Artwork has missed its illumination, treasures have missed their spotlight and books have been in the dark.
We select out artwork, treasures, and library content with such care and then we let it in the shadows. Missing detail to be enjoyed.
Legacy is waiting to be rediscovered. Book titles are waiting to be pulled off our shelves and reread. Brushstrokes are waiting to re-emerge from our paintings.
